Airtight Garage is a contemporary art space and incubator bringing paid exhibition opportunities and free creative resources to Boston's North Shore and beyond
Organized by artist and art writer Rachel TonThat, it borrows its name from the classic French comic strip about an asteroid whose pocket dimension houses innumerable worlds. The project emphasizes collaborative learning, artist to artist support systems, and material and conceptual experimentation.
Incubator Workshops
Writing For Artists will return next spring as an annual workshop! Until then, we will be announcing summer office hours where you can hop on Zoom for advice on your portfolio, writing an application, or questions about our open calls.
The next workshop series will be this fall, on financial models for artists.
